Ribble Valley Cattery is a purpose built, heated cattery enclosure which is situated separately from our kennels and offers comfort and safety throughout your cats stay.

Each cat enclosure, has a spacious indoor full height heated chalet and a spacious

outdoor covered area. The outdoor area includes scratch and climbing posts and a sun lounger for added comfort so they can go outside whenever they wish in a safe and secure environment and enjoy plenty of fresh air.

 

The accommodation is large enough to house two or more pets from the same family. We cater to every individual cats needs, and pride ourselves on being able to provide even the most specialised of care. We have a continuous daily cleaning regime, to ensure that our guests have the highest standards of hygiene, our team check and maintain the cattery throughout the day.

All individual chalets have a cat basket and we can provide bedding but for your cat to settle with us properly it is advised bring with your cat their own bedding and their favourite toys and treats. Experience finds that cats settle stress free with homely comforts such as their favourite blanket/rug and/or toys.

As for food your Cat will be spoilt for choice. We stock a number of the major brands and we will do our best to keep your pet on their regular diet. If you prefer to provide your own food, then we’re happy for you to bring your own (price adjustments do not apply).

 

If your cat has some special diet or medication requirements please bring these with full written instructions and we will be happy to administer these during their stay.

Dried Food ... Iams, Whiskas, Go Cat, Science Plan, Purina One, James Wellbeloved.

Wet Food ... Whiskas, Felix, Iams, Sheba, Gourmet, KiteKat, Applaws Natural. 

We also stock a variety of various treats.

VACCIATIONS 

An up-to-date veterinary health record must be seen to ensure that cats boarding here have current vaccinations against Feline Enteritis, Feline Chlamydia, Feline Influenza and Feline Leukemia. Vaccinations (including boosters) must have been completed, at the very least, 2 weeks before the cat's arrival in order to ensure maximum protection.

All cats that are due treatment for flees and worms whilst your away please treat them at least 2 weeks before boarding.

PLEASE NOTE ... Please check 6 weeks before boarding the last date of vaccination. If the date of vaccination has lapsed considerably it will take 4 weeks between the 1st and 2nd vaccines, plus 2 weeks to ensure your cat is completely covered before it can stay in our facilities.

We do not accept entire male cats over 6 months old.
