Here at Ribble Valley we make every effort to ensure your dog has a safe and enjoyable stay. Leave them here, knowing they are well cared for, allowing you to enjoy yourself.

Our purpose built high quality boarding kennels are split into three blocks each containing individual kennels of regulation sizes to cater for various breeds and sizes. The accommodation is large enough to house two or more pets from the same family. We cater to every individual dog's needs, and pride ourselves on being able to provide even the most specialised of care. We have a continuous cleaning regime, to ensure that our guests have the highest standards of hygiene, our team check and maintain the kennels throughout the day.

Each kennel has it's own private heated sleeping area and an outside run where your dog can come and go as they please all day long, so they will have all day access to both the cosy inside or fresh air and sunshine outside. Each dog boarding with us has their own dog bed, we can provide a blanket for extra comfort but we do recommend you bringing your own as a familiar and homely smell always settles them with us quicker.

Dogs are given timed access to our enclosed paddocks so they can run, play or for the older generation have a gentle stroll around. These are fully enclosed paddocks so dogs do not need to be kept on a lead. Dogs are also walked twice daily along our private road and fields, all dogs during their walks are kept on a lead and only animals from the same home are walked together. Our kennels are situated in the heart of the Ribble Valley countryside, our location is perfect for a peaceful, calming holiday for your dogs.

Al-A-CARTE MENU

As for food your Dog will be spoilt for choice. We stock a number of the major brands and we will do our best to keep your pet on their regular diet. If you prefer to provide your own food, then we’re happy for you to bring your own (price adjustments do not apply).

If your dog has some special diet or medication requirements please bring these with full written instructions and we will be happy to administer these during their stay.

We stock all the major brands ...

Purina, Eukanuba, Iams, Science Plan, James Wellbeloved, Royal Canin, Harringtons, Bakers, Wag, Arden Grange, Beta, Pedigree, Burns, Butchers, Chappie and Burgess foods.

We also stock a wide variety of various dog treats. Our a-la-carte menus and regular treats and drinks rounds offer enough to fill their bottomless bellies and get their tails wagging!

VACCINATIONS

An up-to-date veterinary health record must be seen to ensure that dogs boarding here have current vaccinations against distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus and leptospirosis. Vaccinations (including boosters) must have been completed, at the very least, 14 days before the dog's arrival in order to ensure maximum protection.

We do not insist on your dog's having the Kennel Cough (Infectious Tracheobronchitis) vaccine. The kennel cough vaccination is not an injection, it is a tiny amount of liquid that is administered into the dogs nose. It is a live vaccine (highly contagious) so dog's cannot be accepted into our kennels if this vaccination given under 4 weeks of coming into our kennels. Please note there are many other viruses which can cause kennel cough type symptoms for which no vaccination is available, this is similar to humans with the common cold virus.

All dogs that are due treatment for flees and worms whilst your away please treat them at least 2 weeks before boarding.

PLEASE NOTE ... Please check 4 weeks before boarding the last date of vaccination. If the date of vaccination has lapsed considerably it will take 2/3 weeks between the 1st and 2nd vaccines, plus 1 weeks clearance to ensure your dog is completely covered before it can stay in our facilities.
